For years, the challenging art of batik painting was Diane Bassin's chosen medium of expression. Recently, she has evolved a style of painting that incorporates the combined elements of acrylics, fabrics. and photos. She is a current member of the Westerly Co-op Art Gallery,R.I.
Art Education
Diane's formal art training was in BFA programs at both Queens College and Hunter College NYC. She later studied painting and drawing at the Art Students League, The National Academy of Fine Art and batik at The School of Batik Painting.
