Living in  New York City and Rhode Island, I am inspired by both urban and seaside environments. My paintings are reflections of images ... the study of senses in nature and dreams.  I strive to paint the energy of the moment, exploring the interaction between the vibrancy of paint and the textural elements of fabrics and materials. 

The specific technique is the use of multiple layerings - where each of the elements , i.e. pigment, fabric, fiber,photo has equal importance - thereby producing a composition of harmony and balance.
